Purpose / Charge A. AWARDS 1. Composed of one member from each state in the Region; 2. Review all award nominees’ credentials and select those deserving of: the Outstanding Service Award(s) [1-2 given during the biennium] in the GREAT LAKES REGION, Outstanding Young Professional Achievement Award in the GREAT LAKES REGION, Outstanding Professional Achievement Award in the GREAT LAKES REGION, Outstanding Pi Lambda Thetan in the GREAT LAKES REGION, and the Outstanding Faculty Advisor in the GREAT LAKES REGION. 3. Review the membership information for all chapters for recognition in the GREAT LAKES REGION: Largest Number of Initiates during the Biennium (Gold…50+ initiates; Silver…21-49 initiates; Bronze…2-20 initiates) and Membership and Retention (Diamond…increase of 6+ members; Ruby…maintain same number or increase up to 5 members); 4. Order appropriate items for the recipients of the service awards and officer awards; and 5. Make presentations of appropriate awards. |
