School Administrative Software Survey Results

During the 1^st week of February 1998, a survey was mailed to 342 HS Principals in the state of Indiana. Below is a summary of the information that has been compiled. The information listed is based on the answers on the Survey's that have been returned. Web sites have been added for your convenience and are based on sites the have been located at the time this page was compiled.

The Question ask were

1. What Software Package are you currently using for maintaining student records and creating schedules? (Product)

2. What platform does the software use as an operating system?(OS)

3. How would you rate your software package based on it's ability to provide the needed information to your staff with minimal effort. (Effectiveness) Scale of 0-9 w 0 being poor and 9 being excellent.

4. How would you rate your provider of your software based on their training program and their support . (Support) Scale of 0-9 w 0 being poor and 9 being excellent.

5. If you could choose any student records and scheduling package that is available today, what would you choose.(CHNG) The answers here were counted as to those who whould choose something other than what they are currently using or indicated that they are currently evaluating for a change.)
