Local Government Back then, there was no official leader of our town government. Now, all the members are in a group to help Borden improve. Every time they have a meeting, they meet at the Borden Town Hall. They still have meetings at the Borden Town Hall. Today, they have a president, vice president, and secretary. The 2000-2001 Town Council members are president – Rudy Cook, the vice president -- Angie Brewer, the secretary -- Jack Jordan. Ruth Sparks is an elected officer, but has no vote on the council. She is the Clerk-Treasurer.
